Description of the way to the Saeulinghouse:From swan gau coming you drive please to far direction feet. Before the bridge over the lech you bend on the left of direction Reutte. In the roundabout after the bridgebridge bridge (already in Österreich) drive a short piece of far direction Vils/Musau and bend direction Musau then to the left. To the next roundabout (an enormous bicycle work of art stands here) drive by Unterletzen and Pflach. Nearly at the end of Pflach (wood sign to the Saeulinghaus) you must drive on left over the tracks on a narrow, well fastened way. After you over the E532 drove go right to the parking lot of the Saeulinghouse.
Ascent time to the Saeulinghouse: ca. 2 h look map If you are with children or less trained persons on the way, please plan more time for tracing in. Cards: Kompass Walkin- Cycle- und Skitourmap 4 (Füssen - Ausserfern) The way to the Saeulinghaus is good to commit. It should be done without however, like always in the mountains, not firm footwear and to little perseverance is also not wrong at the place. The way to the Saeulinggipfel is to be guessed only practicing. In addition we ask to use you for sake nature sake only the marked ways and go no abbreviations. Way to the Säulinghouse: From the parking lot you go through the barrier a piece on the geteerten way uphill. At the sign with the label " Saeuling 1 ¾ h " go you right on the narrow Wanderweg. The way is marked with red color. After some time you queren the drive, which to the right you follow approx. 100 m to the way into the mixed woodland lead again to the left. During second traversing a drive the way leads on the right of and equivalent again left diagonally uphill. During the next drive traversing you go either straight over the drive or the drive a piece upward to the path then again into the forest continue to lead. After some time you see the end the drive on the left side. From here it lasts only approx. 20 min. up to the Saeulinghouse. Here you can strengthen yourselves only once with the hut landlord and enjoy the mad panorama from the terrace. Way to the summit:
From the entry door you approach past at the emergency hut straight on the mountain, where several signs are to be seen. The way leads first diagonally across the rubble field. From here lighter Kletterei and way over rubble alternates. All more difficult places are secured with chains, which make however experience at the mountain not unnecessary. If you reached the saddle, you can enjoy the beautiful prospect in good weather on the German side, with lock new swan neuschwanstein, Forggen and spell forest lake. (left the way leads down after new swan neuschwanstein). To the Saeulinggipfel however they follow the markings, which lead on the right side to the summit cross. Further suggestions: These ways are to be guessed only practicing, since them particularly in the top somewhat bergsteigerisches being able with easier climbing to require. In addition we ask to use you for sake nature sake only the marked ways and go no abbreviations. Arround the Pilgerschrofen: From the Saeulinghouse you can make a route for direction northwest around the Pilgerschrofen (look map). From the hut it goes first over rubble fields downward. After one moved upward again some, one comes to the Österreichisch German border. From here you rise still somewhat uphill to the way downward to the Wildsulzhuette (not managed) lead. From here the path leads right upward. At the beginning of still easier to commit, the way leads later across a short ladder and ever more frequently across rock. After approximately 2,5 h comes out one at the saddle, of where out one can down go then either to the summit or directly to the house. Ascent to the Saeuling from the German side: Starting point (look map) is here the parking lot of the lock new swan neuschwanstein, which is liable to pay the costs (approx. 8 DM). The parking lot of the swan lake, briefly before Alterschrofen is free. One must run back however 15 min on the footpath. From the new swan newswan parking lotswan parking lot you go the first piece the same way, as to the lock. That can be quite nerve-killing, because all lock visitors also this way go. You can go to that only out of the way, by starting early enough. The piece crushed stone way is rather steep, although it is publicized as cycle track also. At the end of the crushed stone way you come to the crossing, which also the in and stepping out place of the new swan newswan tourist neuschwanstein-Touristen-Kutschenswan tourist neuschwanstein-Touristen-Kutschen (and/or - penalty) is. From here lift-off you diagonally right the way. This is good to go. To some time branches on the right of a just as broad way. You follow this way up to a clearing with damp meadow. Here a narrow Wanderweg leads right by this biotope in a link curve. You follow this way up to the Wildsulzhuette (does not manage). Here it goes left uphill. At the beginning of still easier to go, the way leads later across a short ladder and ever more frequently across rock. After approximately 3 h one comes out at the saddle, of where out one can down go then either to the summit or directly to the house. The descent takes place then either again from the saddle the same way down or better from the Saeulinghaus around the Pilgerschrofen (see above).
